Overview of role
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator at Genesis College is a senior pedagogical leader responsible for ensuring that the MYP is conceptually coherent, instructionally strong, and developmentally responsive. The role safeguards the integrity of the programme while leading its continuous improvement in a diverse, multilingual, high-expectations international school context.

The MYP Coordinator will play a key role in shaping a coherent, student-centred programme that reflects the inquiry learning and real-world application in action, as Genesis College continues its quest to position itself as the best Romanian international IB school that is both locally grounded and globally oriented.
The MYP Coordinator balances curriculum leadership, teacher development, and programme systems management, ensuring that the MYP is treated as a unified educational framework preparing students for the Diploma Programme and global citizenship and working alongside the Romanian curriculum.
The successful candidate will contribute to fostering bilingualism as a cognitive and cultural asset by encouraging both staff and students to work confidently in English and Romanian.
